Look closely at the portraits and imagine how they were created--think through the steps and how you would replicate that effect.  All you will need is a 1 frontal and 1 from the side. There are lots of examples of this particular effect on the web--probably tutorials too, but you shouldn't really need one of those.

Project 2, 4th Quarter "Ovoids"

Non-Denominational, Spring Ovoids That Just Might Be Appropriate  For The Mid-April Holiday Of Your Choice https://www.vecteezy.com/vector-art/144933-traditional-patterned-easter-eggs-vectors We will continue this week with another Pixlr-based Project intended to enhance your familiarization with Pixlr and the Pixlr workspace. Your challenge will be to *(convincingly) apply an image/pattern/design to ovoid shapes.  For the purposes of demonstration eggs are employed, but you could use any ovoid shape--a football, or um, a rugby ball, or, OK, I'm stumped.  Make it easy on yourself and use an image of eggs.   You may use the image below: You can also find a different copy-right free image online or, if you are ambitious (or hungry) create your own image. Encroach Your next project deals with the power of natural forces on a man-made world. The photos below are examples of the concept (Although, these are  actual  photographs, yours will be composites of original and found images).  The link below will take you to more examples. Mother Nature Think in terms of the juxtapositions between the reality of the man-made world and that of the inexorable power of nature. You will be looking for a high-contrast concept, rather than a subtle, low-contrast idea. The stronger the conceptual contrast, the more successful the image will be. If you need supplemental photos to incorporate into your composition (that you are unable to take), you may use copyright-free photos you find on the web.
