Shadows Your next challenge will be to play with light (or the absence of light) in the form of shadows.  There are no other caveats, other than trying to create really well-composed and thought-through photos, not just snapshots. These images should reflect deliberate photo-making and all aspects of the image plane should be considered , backgrounds included. Of course at this level, focus, contrast, etc. should be non-issues. Here are a couple of interesting shadow photos, but there are literally tens of   thousands of examples   on the web, so take some time this period , visit some sites and explore photography where shadows are the subject.  Find 3 images that you feel are particularly effective at portraying the use of shadows in photography and post them to your Blog along with a brief description of why you find each of the images compelling.
