A b s T r a c t  Photography For your Exam you are to create a print-worthy abstract image using only the resources available to you in the 531 Media Lab.  That includes the studios, darkroom, lights, etc. An Index Print is required. Below are student examples from last year's exam.

Black & White Photography https://iso.500px.com/best-of-2015-top-10-black-white-photos/ Your assignment is to create the best B&W photographic image you are able, using the subject of your choice.  A good B&W photograph has certain qualities that may not exist in an identical color image. Choose subjects that lend themselves to a B&W treatment...subjects that either A) Are not dependent on color or B) Subjects with a strong separation be tween lights and darks (contrast).   Before selecting a subject, please spend some time exploring B&W photographs on the Web--there are many, many sites for you to explore.
